Santa Claus House has an amazing assortment of Christmas décor, gifts and toys. Enjoy an espresso from Santa’s Coffee Cache while you visit with Santa and some real members of his reindeer team. You can’t miss the 42 foot statue of Santa right across the highway from us!

The Knotty Shop is 16 miles south of North Pole. (6565 Richardson Hwy, Salcha, Alaska, 488-3014) You can shop for all Alaskan gifts; see the wildlife museum and the gun exhibit. There is a great collection of wooden burl animal sculptures outside. Don’t forget your camera!!

Visit the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Even the building is a work of art! You will come away with even more of an appreciation of our wonderful state!

Pioneer Park is off Airport Way in Fairbanks. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon visiting some of the original township buildings (which have been relocated here) and check out lots of arts, crafts and yummy treats. If you have small children, the train and the old fashioned carousel are big hits.
