Beaver Lake Resort Motel is making “Green” our way of life with commitments to comfort and sustainability. Our environmentally friendly buildings are super insulated with 10 inch thick walls. To reduce the heating oil consumption we have installed computer controls in each building maintain help maintain temperatures at the new more efficient boilers in such a way as to avoid wasting energy. The new high output water pumps provide a constant pressure using less energy. New exterior doors were just installed that automatically close to more effectively seal in the heat. New more efficient lighting has been in stalled in units, in common areas and one the grounds. We are continuing to look into ways to more efficiently heat water used for domestic and heating purposes.

If you need to plug in your vehicle during the cold, each unit has a timed exterior receptacle so electricity is not wasted heating a vehicle when not needed.
